We are honored to share that SCF has been awarded a Vernon CommUNITY Fund grant! We are excited to partner with the City of Vernon to continue to offer our high-dosage tutoring programs to the youth in the Vernon Area. Thank you to the Vernon City Council and the Vernon CommUNITY Fund Grant Committee for this honor.
In January, Southeast Community Foundation was recognized with other local organizations at a City of Vernon City Council meeting. We were recognized for our mission to promote positive social and academic development of disadvantaged youth in the Vernon Area.
Southeast Community Foundation Receives $15,000 Grant from U.S. Bank Foundation
Los Angeles, CA (September 17, 2024) – Southeast Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization specializing in high-dose tutoring for students in Los Angeles, announced it received a $15,000 grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation. This grant will support SCF’s work in administering high-dose tutoring sessions to students in need in Los Angeles.
“We are deeply grateful to US Bank for their generous donation, which will help us further our mission of supporting the communities and students we serve. Their contribution reflects a shared commitment to empowering young individuals and fostering positive change.
